Belizean Phillip Marin Named Technical Director of Barbados Football

Belizean football administrator Phillip Marin is set to take up a major regional role as Technical Director of the Barbados Football Association.  Marin, who is originally from Dangriga, has built a long record in Belize football, having served in a number of capacities, including as a former Technical Director of the Football Federation of Belize. His reported appointment is being viewed as a significant achievement for Belizean football and a reflection of the expertise that local sports professionals can bring to the wider Caribbean.  The technical director role is central to the development of football, with responsibility for helping to shape coaching programmes, youth development, player pathways and the overall technical direction of a federation. Marin’s experience across different levels of the game in Belize is expected to be an asset as Barbados continues to strengthen its football programme.
