Bembridge treble sinks BB Coke

A hat-trick from Tyraun Bembridge powered Lacovia High to a convincing 3-0 victory over B.B. Coke in their ISSA daCosta Cup preliminary-round contest at the B.B. Coke playfield yesterday. Bembridge opened the scoring in the 20th minute before doubling Lacovia’s advantage in the 35th. He completed his hat-trick five minutes later. The victory keeps Lacovia second in the standings on 12 points, while B.B. Coke remain fourth on nine. Lacovia assistant coach Willard Douglas said his team did well to protect its lead and secure the important victory.
