Benjamin Davis Continues Purple Patch Following CARFITA

After the CARIFTA Swimming Championships in Trinidad and Tobago former Cornwall College student Benjamin Davis continues to show improved form.

Based at the Mount Kelly School in the United Kingdom he recorded personal bests at the recent South West Regional Championships in England.

He dropped his personal best in the 50-metres freestyle time from 24.30 seconds to 24.04 seconds. That placed him fifth in the race.

He is now the second fastest swimmer in the 15-17 age group nationally.

In the 100-metres freestyle Davis dropped from 53.56 seconds to 52.95 seconds for third overall in the race.

It is the number one time in the 15-17 age group and number two overall nationally.

In the 50-metres breaststroke Davis was 12th in 30.91 seconds. That bettered the 30.95 he recorded at CARIFTA.
