Benque Woman Alleges Sexual Assault by Ex-Boyfriend

Police are investigating a report of alleged sexual assault filed by 23-year-old call center agent of Benque Viejo Town, Cayo District.  According to her report, Lopez met with her ex-boyfriend, Jamie Reneau, on Tuesday, August 5. She alleges that after they went to his residence to talk, Reneau physically restrained her when she attempted to leave. The woman further claims that Reneau threw her on a bed, forcibly touched her, and prevented her from leaving until she agreed to remain friends with him.  Lopez reported the incident to the Santa Elena Police Station yesterday for the purpose of obtaining a restraining order against Reneau.
