Big shoes to fill in Eugene for Marshall, Bell

Jamaica, over the years, has had good results in the women’s 100m hurdles at the World Under-20 Championships, with Gillian Russell and Kerrica Hill winning back-to-back titles, while Ackera Nugent has won once. Jamaica will be represented at this year’s championships in Eugene, Oregon, by Wolmer’s Girls training partners Tiana Marshall and Ackeelah Bell. All eyes, however, will be on Marshall, who is ranked fourth in the world with a personal best of 12.98 seconds and will be hoping to challenge for the gold medal when the event gets under way.
