Billy Mystic bids farewell to Mystic Revealers

Billy Wilmot better known by his stage name Billy Mystic, has announced his departure from the legendary reggae band Mystic Revealers.

Citing overwhelming stress and financial strain as the driving forces behind his decision, Mystic bid farewell to the group that has been his musical home for over four decades.

In a release, the veteran musician explained that his decision comes after years of shouldering the weight of keeping the band’s vision alive and managing the financial struggles that come with sustaining a group of six or seven musicians.

He further shared that trying to keep everyone inspired has taken its toll on him over the years and he just doesn’t have the energy to do it anymore.
