Billboard’s Year-End Reggae Albums Artists and Year-End Reggae Albums charts, released December 9, 2025, once again confirm Bob Marley & The Wailers as the undisputed leaders of reggae consumption in the United States. The legendary group claims No. 1 for the fifth consecutive year, driven by the enduring success of Legend: The Best of Bob Marley and The Wailers, which also finishes as 2025’s top reggae album. Decades after its release, Legend continues to serve as the genre’s commercial anchor, maintaining Marley’s unmatched cultural influence in the streaming age.
Stick Figure Holds the No. 2 Artist Spot for the Sixth Straight Year
At No. 2 on the Reggae Albums Artists chart, Stick Figure remains the highest-ranked living reggae band for the sixth year in a row, reflecting their deep, sustained catalog streaming power. The band was no. 1 in 2019 and this year they also place three albums in the Year-End Reggae Albums Top 10—more than any other artist:
-
World on Fire – No. 3
-
Wisdom – No. 6
-
Set in Stone – No. 7
Their continued dominance illustrates how modern American reggae now competes directly with iconic catalog acts.
Sean Paul and Shaggy Deliver Another Consistent Year
Sean Paul lands at No. 3 among artists and he appears twice on the albums list:
-
Dutty Classics Collection – No. 5
-
Dutty Rock – No. 8
At No. 4 in the Artists ranking is Shaggy by way of his Best of Shaggy: The Boombastic Collection, which finishes No. 2 among top reggae albums.
UB40 and Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley Remain Steady Chart Forces
UK reggae-pop icons UB40 claim No. 5 among artists, with Greatest Hits sitting at No. 4 on the albums year-end list.
Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley follows at No. 6, supported by continued interest in Welcome to Jamrock, which ranks at No. 10 among albums.
Fiji, Ini Kamoze, Sister Nancy, and The Movement Round Out the Artists Top 10
At No. 7, Pacific reggae standout Fiji delivers one of the strongest year-end showings for a non-U.S., non-Jamaican act—reflecting reggae’s expanding global footprint. Fiji died earlier this year and his Best Of Collection entered the chart. However the set did not make the year end.
Ini Kamoze ranks No. 8, fueled by the evergreen popularity of “Here Comes the Hotstepper.”
Sister Nancy, at No. 9 on the Artist ranking, largely due to Record Store Day sales with her One Two album in April.
Closing the Artists Top 10, The Movement reinforces the growing commercial presence of U.S. reggae-rock bands through touring-driven catalog strength.
This year’s top-selling reggae albums are ranked by sales data as compiled by Nielsen Music.
