Former Trinidad and Tobago sprinter, Ato Boldon, is picking Jamaica’s Oblique Seville to win the men’s 100m at next month’s World Athletics Championships in Tokyo Japan.

Boldon, who won 200m gold at the 1997 World Championships, says Seville has forced his hand after command performances at Diamond League meets in London and Lausanne.

In London Seville took apart a big field to win in 9.86 seconds with the likes of Noah Lyles , Zharnell Hughes and country man Ackeem Blake all trailing in his wake.

He gave an almost repeat performance in Lausanne clocking 9.87 seconds, with Lyles again trailing home.

Boldon, says Seville’s consistency makes it difficult for him to leave him out of the gold medal conversation.
