Bolt: Lyles Can Break Sprint World Records

1 year ago 59

Sprint legend, Usain Bolt, believes American Sprinter Noah Lyles, can break his 100 and 200 metres records.

Bolt set the 100 metres world record at 9.69 and the 200 metres at 19.30 at the Beijing Olympics in 2008. The following year he improved on both records setting the mark at 9.58 seconds in the 100 metres and 19.19 seconds over 200 metres.

Speaking on Citius Mag, Bolt says Lyles could own the records if he corrects a few flaws in his technique.

Bolt’s former rival on the track, Justin Gatlin, agrees that Lyles has the tools to break the records, but believes it will take more than perfect technique to break the records.
