BPBL All-Star Week To Kick Off with Youth Camp and Celebrity Game

The Belize Premier Basketball League (BPBL) is holding several events in commemoration of All-Star Week. The All-Star break is a routine part of basketball seasons, and the BPBL is using the time to connect the public with the best players in the league. The festivities kick off tomorrow afternoon at the Belize Civic Center, where the top 24 players from across the country will be hosting a basketball camp for students ages 5 to 15 years old. All-Star Week will also see the popular Celebrity Game, where athletes, influencers, and public figures will face off at the Civic. Participants will include Minister of Home Affairs Kareem Musa, Mayor Bernard Wagner, alongside personalities like Stig da Artist and Ozzy the Clown. CEO of the BPBL Dr. Gilbert Gordon says that activities like the camps are important to nurture the future of basketball in Belize. 

On Thursday night, there will also be the three-point shoot-out. slam dunk contest and the All Start Game which will feature Belize’s top basketball talent.
