The Leeward Islands Thunder beat the Trinidad and Tobago Legions by three wickets in the Cricket West Indies Breakout T20 League at the Brian Lara Stadium.
The Legions scored 151 for 8 in their 20 overs. Amir Jangoo led the scoring with 51 runs. Micah McKenzie finished with bowling figures of 4 for 25.
In response, the Thunder raced to 152 for 7 inside 17 overs. Jewel Andrew led the charge for the Thunder, top-scoring with 47 runs. Johann Layne and Navine Bidaisee both took two wickets.
Meanwhile, Jamaica Titans suffered a three-run defeat against Barbados Pelicans in their match.
Chasing 156 to win, the Titans made 152 for 7 off their 20 overs.
Jordan Johnson made 34 and Leroy Lugg scored 27.
Earlier, the Pelicans made 155 for 7 off their 20 overs.
Shaqkere Parris led the batting with 41, Kadeem Alleyne made 38 and Joshua Bishop, 25 not out.
This was the Titans second consecutive defeat and third overall.
