British High Commission Welcomes New Deputy High Commissioner

The British High Commission to Belize has officially welcomed its new Deputy High Commissioner, Kieron Ogden, who assumed duties in February 2026.  In an online announcement, the High Commission noted that Ogden brings extensive diplomatic experience to the post, having joined the United Kingdom’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office in 2015.  Prior to his arrival in Belize, Ogden most recently served within the FCDO’s National Security and Protocol Directorates, where he worked on matters related to international engagement and diplomatic coordination.  Officials say his appointment is expected to further strengthen the longstanding partnership between the United Kingdom and Belize, particularly in areas of cooperation and bilateral relations.
