British High Commissioner Hails Jamaica’s Unity Cup Performance

British High Commissioner to Jamaica, Judith Slater, had high praises for Jamaica’s senior men’s football team after their recent performance in the Unity Cup football competition, in London.

The Reggae Boyz opened their campaign with a 3-2 win over Caribbean neighbours Trinidad and Tobago.

In the final they were beaten 5-4 on penalties by Nigeria. The Boyz equalised twice in normal time before losing from the spot.

Her Excellency, Judith Slater, says the Jamaicans can still hold their heads high.
