Burglar Caught on Camera Stealing Cash From Stann Creek Fast Food Restaurant

Just after 12:09 this morning, surveillance cameras at Exito Exito Fast Food in Santa Cruz, Stann Creek District, captured an uninvited visitor making his way inside the establishment. The footage shows a light-skinned, slim-built man entering the premises. As he moved through the restaurant, the individual was seen using a blue shirt to conceal his face. For several minutes, the burglar was seen lingering throughout the establishment, seemingly looking for something of value. The footage eventually shows him locating the business’s cash pan, where according to owner Jorge Torres, approximately six hundred dollars in cash was stolen.

The incident was later brought to public attention after the surveillance footage was shared, as the business sought assistance in identifying the individual captured on camera. Torres says the response was quick, and based on information received after the footage circulated, the person seen in the video has since been identified.
