Burglary at Interdistrict Shipping Under Investigation After Cash and Packages Stolen

A burglary at Interdistrict Shipping on the Belize Corozal Road is under active police investigation after thieves entered the building sometime between 5:00 yesterday evening and 8:00 this morning.  According to police, the culprits forcefully opened the back glass window located on the northern side of the 30-by-40-foot concrete structure. The office representative reported that approximately $120 in cash was stolen, along with several customer packages. The full contents of the missing packages have not yet been determined.  Cycle Patrol officers were dispatched to the scene after the report was called. Investigators are now gathering more information and assessing the extent of the losses.
