BVI Completes Jamaica’s World Cup Qualifying Group

Jamaica’s group E for the start of the 2026 CONCACAF World Cup Qualifiers has now been finalised.

The British Virgin Islands grabbed the fifth and last spot in the group after beating the US Virgin Islands 4-2 on penalties in their playoff game on Tuesday.

The teams were goalless after extra time.

The BVI now joins Jamaica, Guatemala, Dominica, and the Dominican Republic in the five-team group, of which two will advance to the final round of qualifiers for the World Cup to be hosted by Canada, the USA, and Canada.

The qualifiers will begin on June 5.
