Campbell Turns ‘Drunk on Power’ Remark Back on Holness

People’s National Party, PNP, general secretary, Dr. Dayton Campbell, has hit back at Prime Minister, Dr. Andrew Holness for his ‘drunk on power’ remark.

Dr. Holness’ comment, made at the Jamaica Labour Party, JLP, Area Council One gospel concert on Sunday, was a thinly veiled jab at Mark Golding, after the opposition leader used an expletive at a political meeting in St. Ann.

But speaking at a PNP meeting in St Elizabeth on Wednesday, Dr. Campbell said it’s the Holness administration that’s drunk on power.

Dr. Campbell also accused the prime minister of failing to reprimand JLP officials who remove PNP campaign material from public spaces.
