Canadian Tourist Dies After Medical Emergency at Philip Goldson International Airport

Canadian national James Stanley Wood died at the Philip Goldson International Airport around midday today after reportedly suffering a medical emergency while awaiting his flight.

Preliminary information indicates that the eighty-six-year-old traveller was in the departure area preparing to board United Airlines Flight 1405 when he became ill. Attempts were reportedly made to assist Wood, but he was later pronounced dead.  The cause of his death has not yet been officially confirmed.
