Caribbean Airlines will add more than 7,600 domestic seats between Trinidad and Tobago during the July/August peak travel period.

The airline announced it will operate 72 additional flights from July 16 to August 31 to meet increased demand, particularly as Tobago hosts major events including the Tobago Heritage Festival and The Great Race.

The extra services will complement the airline’s existing domestic airbridge schedule and will use a combination of ATR and Boeing 737 aircraft.

Caribbean Airlines Acting CEO Varma Khillawan said the increased capacity aims to make travel more convenient during one of the busiest periods for domestic travel while supporting Tobago’s tourism sector.

The additional flights are available through Caribbean Airlines’ website, mobile app, ticket offices, reservations call centre and travel agents.
