Caribbean Shores Summer Camp Gives Children Week of Learning and Adventure

Children from the Caribbean Shores constituency are enjoying a week of learning, recreation and new experiences as this year’s Caribbean Shores Summer Camp gets underway in Belize City.  The camp officially opened with an exciting day of fishing at Dolphin Park Belize, where participants had the opportunity to learn basic fishing skills, spend time outdoors and build new friendships. For many of the children, it was their first time casting a fishing line, making the experience both educational and memorable.  The initiative is being supported by the Area Representative for Caribbean Shores, Minister Kareem Musa, as part of his continued community outreach aimed at providing positive opportunities for young people during the summer break.  Justice of the Peace Natasha Pipersburgh, one of the organizers, described the opening day as a tremendous success, highlighting the enthusiasm shown by the campers throughout the activities.  Organizers also expressed appreciation to the volunteers, parents and supporters whose contributions helped ensure the camp got off to a strong start.  The Caribbean Shores Summer Camp will continue throughout the week with a variety of educational, recreational and team-building activities designed to keep children engaged while promoting confidence, cooperation and personal development during their school vacation.
