Carty Slams Century to Help WI Tie ODI Series Against England

Keacy Carty scored a century to guide the West Indies to a 197-run victory on the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern method in their rain affected third ODI against Ireland at Dublin, on Sunday.

The win helped the Caribbean side level the three match series at 1-1.

Carty’s 170 came off 142-balls and included 15 fours and eight sixes as the Windies made 385 for 7 off 50-overs. He was supported by captain Shai Hope 75 and Justin Greaves 50.

Barry McCarthy took three wickets and Liam McCarthy, 2.

Set a revised target of 363 from 46 overs, the hosts were bowled out for 165. Cade Carmichael, 48, made most runs. Jayden Seales took three wickets.

This was Carty’s second century of the series.
