Lennox Turnham-Wheatley from the Cayman Islands is one of the starlets from the region looking to have a good showing at this year’s CARIFTA swimming championships.
The competition is set for Trinidad and Tobago, from April 19-22.
Competing in the 13-to-14 age group, Turnham-Wheatley says he is hoping to improve on his performance from last year.
This season he has set the 13-to-14 age record in the 800 freestyle in the 25 metre pool and won the 5K open water title.
Turnham-Wheatley says some areas of his technique needs improvement.
