Dancehall artiste Cecile is appealing to residents of Manchester home parish to help find 12-year-old Jayden Smith who has been missing since September 27.
Making the appeal on social media, Cecile posted a screenshot of a newspaper headline about Jayden’s disappearance, urging Manchester residents to keep an eye out for the young boy.
Jayden is of dark complexion, slim build and about 5 feet tall. He is a grade seven student of Manchester High School.
Police say that at about 6:15 A.M. on Friday Jayden was last seen at home wearing a khaki uniform and a pair of brown shoes.
A search party was deployed this morning near the Manchester High School on Perth Road, as efforts intensify to locate the missing grade seven student.
Speaking to the media this morning, Jayden’s aunt, Ann-Marie Thompson, noted that his disappearance has taken a mental toll on the family and is calling on persons who have information on her nephew’s whereabouts to speak up.
