Central Kingston FC Player Banned for 1 Season for Assaulting Referee

Central Kingston FC player, Romane Rankine, has been banned by the KSAFA Disciplinary Committee for one season.

Rankine was also fine $5,000 .

Meanwhile, assistant coach of Central Kingston, Michael Howell, was also suspended for the remainder of the season or for three matches.

He’s also to pay a fine of $3,000.

The disciplinary committee made the decision after hearing evidence following the match between Central Kingston and Boys Town at St. George’s College on May 4 which resulted in the referee being assaulted by the player.
