Central Road Authority May Take 18 Months to Launch – Morgan

Eighteen months. That’s the timeframe in which minister with responsibility for works, Robert Morgan, says a central road authority may take to be launched in Jamaica.

He was speaking on Nationwide at Five on Thursday.

During his recent budget presentation, Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness, announced that the government was looking into establishing a single road authority to oversee the maintenance of the nation’s roads.

Minister Morgan says the process will be subject to widespread consultation.
