Champs 2026 | Top guns comfortable into next round of boys’ 400m

The boys’ 400m is shaping up to be a cracking affair across all classes, as this year’s top contenders flexed their muscles in qualifying earlier today at the National Stadium. Titchfield’s Nishawn Walker led the way in Class One, setting the fastest qualifying time of 47.59 seconds. Jamaica College’s (JC) Makaelan Woods was also in cruise control, posting 47.60 to advance from heat three.
