Minister of Labour and Social Security, Pearnel Charles Junior, has admitted that he performed poorly in last Saturday’s national debate on social issues.

The minister was one of three to represent the governing JLP during the debate.

Following the debate, many took to social media to criticize the minister’s lacklustre performance.

Speaking on Nationwide at Five on Tuesday, Charles says the experience is one he will learn from.

He credited his teammates Matthew Samuda and Kamina Johnson Smith for their performances.
