Charlton set to offer Antonio a lifeline with pay-as-you-play deal

LONDON, England (CMC): Charlton Athletic are in discussions to offer former West Ham United forward Michail Antonio a route back into professional football, with the Addicks set to propose a short-term contract for the Jamaican international. The 35-year-old striker, who remains a free agent after being released by the Hammers last summer, has been training with the League One side as manager Nathan Jones looks to fill the final spot in his 25-man squad.
