Chase says Poor Pitches Contributed to WI Test Battering Against Australia

1 month ago 7

Captain of the West Indies, Rostan Chase, says poor pitches was among the reasons for the Windies recent three-Test series sweep against Australia.

The Caribbean men suffered a 159-runs defeat in the first Test. They later went down by 133 runs in the second.

However, their most dismal performance came in the third Test, which they lost by 176 runs after being bowled out for 27 in the second innings.

One hundred and twenty wickets fell through out the series, while none of the batters on both sides were able to record a century.

Chase says that speaks to the dominance of the bowlers.

Chase says he would love to face the Aussies in another Test series in the Caribbean.
