Chris Elliot Appointed to FIA Drag Racing Commission

Jamaica’s Chris Elliott has been formally appointed by the FIA to its Drag Racing Commission.

Elliott is the first Jamaican to perform duties in a motor sport capacity within the FIA and will serve for a period of two years.

JMMC Chairman, Stephen Gunter, says this prestigious position is a testament to Elliott’s unwavering dedication and exceptional contributions to the development of drag racing, particularly in Jamaica.

Gunter says Elliott’s appointment to the FIA Drag Racing Commission is not only a recognition of his achievements, but also a testament to the trust and confidence placed in him by his peers and colleagues.
