Masicka, Christopher Martin, and Nigy Boy are some of the confirmed acts who will lend their voices to the I Love Jamaica fund-raising concert series in support of Hurricane Melissa recovery efforts.
At a press conference on Monday, Culture Minister Olivia “Babsy” Grange, said the initiative has garnered interest from several overseas based and local acts.
Christopher Martin, Masicka, and Nigy Boy will be performing at the Jamaica leg of the 5-concert series scheduled for Sunday, November 16, the concert previously announced for the Stadium car park and Mass Camp will now be held virtually and will broadcast from the CPTC Studios. The concert will also include a telethon.
The government hopes to raise an initial $1M USD from the concert series in support of Hurricane Melissa recovery efforts.
