Chronixx speaks out, calls for interview

Reggae singer Chronixx entered the chat on Thursday after the Levelz with Kshema podcast raised the question of whether Reggae acts should temper their message for commercial success.

The discussion follows recent comments from Yaksta and a cryptic post from Chronixx, both of which have fueled an online debate about whether a Rastafarian artist who tones down their message to reach a wider audience risks being labeled a sellout.

Chronixx later fired off a series of responses, directly addressing critics who challenged his stance.

In one post, the “Exile” singer wrote, “A deep hatred for positive energy a go roun it seems. Nuh want song for the family? No I Can? No Legend? No They Don’t Know? Just people sexualization and cursing. God ago memba this.”

He also made it clear he’s open to further discussion, adding, “As a matter a fact, interview me.”

An invitation has since been sent for a Road To Success interview on IRIE FM, but Chronixx has not yet confirmed.
