Ciara is ready to hit the road this year. The Level Up hitmaker is buzzing with excitement about what 2026 has in store and has been “manifesting all the good things,” including new music, more live shows, and continued success. She told People magazine:

“Oh my gosh, 2026, man. I’m manifesting more joy, more music, more success, you know what I’m saying? More zeros, all that good stuff. I’m manifesting all the good things, okay? And [a] tour. Yeah, I’m excited.”

The 40-year-old singer felt “very fortunate” that her catalogue has been reaching a new audience, thanks to video-sharing platform TikTok.

“I have been very fortunate that pretty much all of my songs have, you know, rang really loud throughout the years … [and] have actually been a lot of the trending songs [on TikTok] over the past years, which has been a blessing and it keeps me young, which I love,” she said.

Ciara went on: “There’s nothing better than when [I] hear my family members or young teenagers [be] like, ‘I just heard Get Up for the first time’. I’m like, ‘Where you’ve been at?’ But, you know, those moments actually, they make me smile so big because I feel like it helps me to stay connected as an artiste. And it’s very motivating … I can tell you, I can never get enough of [song like] Level Up, [that] just continues to trend and re-trend.”

PROUD MOMENT

Ciara reflected on her journey as an independent artiste, describing it as “a blessing” when her music resonates with fans. She said it’s special to see people around the world singing along and trending her songs, adding that she feels “really proud of that”.

Ciara, who has 11-year-old son Future Zahir with her ex – and rapper of the same name – Future, and three children with her husband Russell Wilson – Sienna, eight; Win, five; and 23-month-old Amora – strives to balance sharing glimpses of her life on social media while maintaining her family’s privacy.

“You have to roll with your gut when you do posts. I think fun things are always cool. And it’s one of those things where you just know what’s right and wrong... You don’t want to really show locations … sometimes because people be up in the mix, and you never know who might try to pull up on you,” she said, adding that she always tries to be mindful of her family’s safety when posting.
