CMU Spartans Ends Mico Wasps’ Unbeaten Run in Community Basketball

CMU Spartans handed Mico Wasps their first defeat of the season with a 74-63 win in the GK-ONE/SDF Howard McCatty Basketball League at the Camperdown court, Tuesday night.

Romone Spence led the scoring for CMU with 25 points. He got support from Joel McLaughlin, 17, and Matthew McGowan, 18.

The Wasps top marks man was Leslie Cassel with 19 points.

Meanwhile, Swift Sons stopped Rae Town Raptors 63-51. Raymond Layne, 18, and Keron Caine, 14, led the way for the Sons.
