Jamaica’s National Women’s senior football team is one of six which have been seeded ahead of the draw for the CONCACAF Women’s World Cup qualifiers on Wednesday August 20.

El Salvador, Haiti, Panama, Costa Rica and Mexico are the other pre-seeded teams.

Jamaica will be aiming to qualify for a third straight World Cup appearance, a feat Harbour View’s General Manager Clyde Jureidini thinks would be special should they go on to do it.

The Jamaica squad is made up largely of foreign based players, and Juredini hopes the local based players can draw inspiration from that dynamic.
