Corinaldi Avenue Primary Crowned Champions of Scotiabank Football Kids Tournament

The Jamaica leg of the Scotiabank Football Kids’ Championship has run its four-week course and came to an end on the weekend.

Corinaldi Avenue Primary were crowned champions after beating Balmagie Primary 3-1.

In addition to Corinaldi Avenue Primary being crowned champions, Scotiabank also distributed individual awards and prizes.

Goalkeeper Troy King, of Balmagie Primary was awarded Best Goalkeeper; Steven Brown of Greater Portmore Primary with 14 goals was presented with the leading goal scorer award; and the best player of the tournament was awarded to Joanna Robinson of Corinaldi Avenue Primary.

Joanna is one of over 200 girls, from 60 schools, who participated in the islandwide under-11 co-ed competition.
