Corporate Area Champs set for exciting two-day showdown

THE second regional high school track and field meet for the season , the two-day Corporate Area Championships, will get under way this morning at the Ashenheim Stadium (Jamaica College), starting at 8:30 a.m. with the long jump final for Class One girls and preliminary-round action in the Class Four girls’ 70m hurdles. A prelude to next month’s ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls’ Athletics Championships (Champs), fans can expect two days of high-quality performances on and off the track as athletes and teams look to secure psychological advantages ahead of the ‘big dance’.
