Cox replaces Western as TSTT CEO

KEINO Cox has been appointed acting CEO of TSTT. He replaces Kent Western. Cox was formerly assistant vice president of emerging services and innovation.

A July 21 statement from TSTT said Cox brought over 25 years of experience in telecommunications, digital innovation and public sector modernisation, holding an MBA with distinction from the Arthur Lok Jack School of Business and a BSc in Economics and Finance from UWI.

The statement said Cox had also completed executive training at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and was regarded as a regional leader in innovation, digital strategy and supply chain management.

In the statement, Cox thanked Western for his leadership as he expressed his commitment to his new role.

“TSTT is on a strong path and I look forward to building on the momentum alongside our talented team.”

Western said, “It has been an honour to lead TSTT through such a critical period. I’m proud of the progress we’ve made together and I’m confident in the team’s ability to continue driving positive change.”

Chairman Kern Dass also extended his thanks to Western as he welcomed Cox into the new role.

“The board and I extend our sincere thanks to Mr Western for his service and welcome Mr Cox to his new role. We are confident in the future of TSTT and look forward to continued success under Mr Cox’s leadership.”
