CPL Moving to Align Tournament With ICC Best Practices

Dubbed the biggest party in sport, the 2025 staging of the Caribbean Premier League, CPL, is set to adopt cricket’s governing body, the ICC’S,  playing conditions for this season. 

According to tournament director of the CPL, Michael Hall, while speaking with Nationwide Sports, he explained that the changes are being done to modernise the game. 

The six team tournament will bowl off August 14 with the St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots up against the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons. 

Hall says there will also be a plethora of changes to engage fan interaction in a bid to ensure that the CPL is among the best T20 leagues in the world.
