Opposition Spokesman on Education, Damion Crawford, says the finance minister misled the nation about the cost of the People’s National Party’s, PNP, proposal to provide one nutritious meal per day for all needy children.
He says the proposal would target approximately 240,000 students annually.
Minister, Fayval Williams claimed the number was 400,000.
He also sought to rubbish the proposed cost put forward by the minister for the PNP’s one tertiary degree per household policy.
