3 months ago 16

Opposition Spokesperson on Education, Senator Damion Crawford believes the Rural School Bus Programme will cost the JLP the next general election.

Speaking to members of the media at a Policy Breakfast at the Fromage Bistro in St. Andrew on Thursday, Senator Crawford says the programme has a number of major flaws.

He points to what he says are discrepancies with the routes and cost to procure the buses.

Many stakeholders in education have hailed the Rural School Bus Programme for keeping students in a safe transportation environment away from potential predators.

Senator Crawford notes the PNP’s proposed Ride Program will also include vetting the private transport operators to ensure the safety of the children.
