President of Cricket West Indies Dr. Kishore Shallow has finally broken his silence in relation to allegations of sexual assault offences against a player in the current West Indies team.
Shallow, while speaking on Trinidad and Tobago-based WESN TV, stated that the reports are simple allegations as the governing body is yet to receive an official report of misconduct.
Earlier this month, news began surfacing out of Guyana that multiple women came forward making reports of sexual misconduct dating back to 2023 by the player in question.
However, Shallow believes Cricket West Indies isn’t the body that does an investigation into the matter.
He added that all the information they’ve heard on the matter is similar to those that are already on social media.
