Cudjoe granted bail in robbery with violence case

Codde Cudjoe, 28, appeared in court on Monday charged with robbery with violence. He was granted bail in the sum of $250,000 with surety.
As part of the bail conditions, Cudjoe is required to report to a designated police station twice weekly and observe a daily curfew from 8:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.

According to police reports, the incident involved a group of approximately six men, some allegedly armed with knives, who entered a supermarket and confronted three individuals. The victims were reportedly injured during the confrontation. The suspects then escaped with approximately $200,000 TTD and $15,000 USD.

An investigation, led by PC Forbes, resulted in the arrest of Cudjoe in Trinidad. Officers carried out the arrest based on evidence gathered during the ongoing inquiry.

Authorities continue to investigate the matter and are pursuing leads to locate the other individuals believed to be involved in the robbery.

The case remains open as police work to identify and apprehend the remaining suspects.
