Customs Officer Siblings Arraigned for Abetment in 151-Pound Marijuana Bust

A brother and sister team of customs officers Atlee Castillo and Cheryl Castillo Moreno were arraigned this morning in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court before charged with the offense of the abetment to importation of 151 pounds of a controlled drug which is high grade marijuana. They were both offered and met bail of $20,000 each.

It can be recalled that in April of this year the duo was busted with over 100 pounds of weed at the Belize City Customs. We’ll have the full details in our 6:00p.m. newscast.
