CWC Organisers Hails Global Reach of Cricket

Public relations manager for the ICC T20 World Cup, Philip Spooner, says they are using the trophy tour to demonstrate that cricket is a mainstream global event.

The World Cup will be co-hosted by the Caribbean and USA, from June 1-29.

Spooner says they have been parading the trophy at none sporting events like the Miami Grand Prix.
