Public commentator, Ronaldinho McLean, says the two major political parties should use the upcoming national debates to make a strong case on their suitability to form the next government.
He was reacting to the composition of the teams the JLP and PNP will be fielding in the upcoming debates.

The first debate on social issues is set for Saturday, August 23.
The PNP team for that debate comprises Damion Crawford, Raymond Pryce and Sophia Fraser-Binns.
For the JLP, it is set to be Pearnel Charles Junior, Kamina Johnson Smith and Matthew Samuda.
The second debate on the economy is set for Tuesday, August 26.
Team PNP will be Julian Robinson, as well as Peter Bunting and PNP treasurer Kisha Anderson.
The JLP has selected Finance Minister Fayval Williams as well as Dr. Christopher Tufton and Dr. Dana Morris Dixon.
The leadership debate between Prime Minister Dr Andrew Holness and Opposition Leader, Mark Golding is set to take place on Thursday, August 28.
All three debates will be televised, beginning at 9PM. They will each last for 90 minutes.
