Decomposed Body Found Near Caesar Ridge Identified as Belize City Resident

The partially decomposed body of Gilbert Conorquie, 39 of Rivero Street in Belize City was found in the bushes a bit off Caesar Ridge Road in the Port Loyola area this morning. Today at a press briefing, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Stacy Smith, updated the media. 

Stacy Smith, Assistant Superintendent of Police: “The body has since been identified as Gilbert Conorquie, 39 years of age, a believes in of a Rivero Street address. Mr Conorquie’s body exhibited signs of injury and it now awaits a post-mortem examination. What we do know is that on the 27th of October, a relative of Conorquie reported him missing last seeing him on the 26th of October.”
