The first leg quarter-final games in the Wray and Nephew/Jamaica Premier League at Sabina Park, came to a premature end on Thursday because of defective lighting.
The lights went out in the 35th minute of the first game between Tivoli Gardens and Montego Bay United with the score at 0-0.
The authorities waited almost an hour after the interruption before calling off the game.
Defending champions Cavalier were scheduled to meet Portmore United in the night’s second game, but that too was affected.
Both are now rescheduled for Friday at the same venue starting with Tivoli against Montego Bay United at 6 pm and the Cavalier-Portmore encounter at 8:30 pm.
