Della Manley fundraising concert set for today, May 15 as singer remains hospitalized

‘Musicians for Della.’

That’s the name of a special fundraising musical event being put on today by family and friends of Folk singer and Songwriter, Della Manley.

Della Manley has been hospitalized since being seriously injured in a car accident following a show in Montego Bay in March.

The fundraising concert set for today at 7pm will be held at Lester’s bar, Half Moon Eclipse Hotel, Montego Bay, in an effort to assist her in her long, costly road to recovery. It will feature some of the many musicians she has worked with over the years.

There is no cover charge for the concert but donations are welcomed.

The family was recently forced to make a public plea for blood for the singer.

Della Manley is the daughter – in – law of the late former Prime Minister Michael Manley.
