Dancehall deejay Demarco is addressing chatter that he was disrespected by Bounty Killer after he popped up on stage during Bounty’s performance at the Oasis Music Festival in Canada over the weekend.
In a video shared to Instagram, Demarco explained that while in Canada for a show, he decided to pay his respect to Bounty by attending the event. He blamed vloggers for spreading the story and admitted he doesn’t fault Bounty Killer for what happened. Still, he ended the video by stating that an incident like that will never happen to him again.
Canadians turned out in their numbers on Saturday to support Bounty Killer’s return to the country for the first time in 20 years. Other entertainers booked for the Oasis Music Festival included Cham, Dexta Daps, and soca artist Mr. Killa.
